Cosmic Pathfinders Program

Motivated by the current state of the profession and recommendations from the ASTRO2020 decadal survey, the Cosmic Pathfinders Program is a student-focused professional development program that provides an interface between interested undergraduate, graduate students, and NASA Astrophysics activities exhibited by the national network of astronomers, astrophysicists, and space-scientists connected to NASA Astrophysics and the Cosmic Origins/Physics of the Cosmos program offices.

NASA Hubble Fellowship Program Logo

NASA Hubble Postdoctoral Fellowship

The NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP) supports promising postdoctoral scientists to pursue independent research which contributes to NASA Astrophysics, using theory, observation, experimentation, or instrument development.

NASA Postdoctoral Program

A Annual NASA Postdoctoral Program application deadlines are March 1, July 1, and November 1. Scientists within five years of receiving their degrees are eligible to apply as a postdoctoral Fellow; scientists who have received their doctorates more than five years previously may apply as a Senior Fellow. After the first year as a Postdoctoral Fellow, scientists interested in management may apply to the Postdoctoral Management Program at NASA Headquarters.
